I think it depends on how good the parent/child relationship is. I don’t think there’s a set age.
When I was a recent college graduate and was pitifully under employed, I lived with my parents. I did yard work, helped with cooking and cleaning, and helped take care of an eldery relative who lives with my parents. I wasn’t a jobless freeloader, and I moved out ASAP.
We made it work because we love eachother. I didn’t take advantage of their kindness, and they didn’t put me out on the street.
